Subject: BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, SERVICE CONTROL, OSBORNE HOUSE – LONDON UNDERGROUND
That we note a meeting took place between the representatives and the Senior Assistant General Secretary; and that outstanding particulars of putting on a ballot for industrial action have been addressed through correspondence.
This union will not tolerate managers taking it upon themselves to trash agreed Machineries of Negotiations & Consultations or other agreements such as the Professional Service Control Agreement; and will defend them with all at our disposal.
Subject: INTRODUCTION OF CBTC – METROPOLITAN LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND
That we note the resolution from our Neasden Branch that the company have been ignoring our requests for meetings to resolve this issue and have instead been holding meetings with non-union representatives with staff in Train Operator, Service Control and Stations grades in contravention of the Machinery of Negotiations & Consultations and the Health & Safety Machinery.
Subject: WORKING CONDITIONS, HAMMERSMITH SERVICE CONTROL CENTRE – LONDON UNDERGROUND
That we note the resolution from our London Transport Regional Council regarding the appalling conditions of work at Hammersmith Service Control Centre.
Accordingly, we instruct the Generally Secretary to arrange an urgent meeting of our Local Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Control H&S representatives, the Lead Officer, Senior
Assistant General Secretary with members of the NEC in attendance.

Subject: TERMS AND CONDITIONS, STATION STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND
That we note the resolution from our Neasden Branch and that consultation has now occurred with branches in the London Transport Region who are fully supportive of a move to a ballot for industrial action in the forms of Strike Action & Actions Short of a Strike if the company does not come to terms with this union.
Subject: STAFFING LEVELS, REVENUE CONTROL INSPECTORS – LONDON UNDERGROUND
That we note the resolution from our London Transport Regional Council regarding the appalling spike in violence at work against our operational members, the company’s failure or worse intentional non-filling of RCI vacancies which has reduced RCI staff numbers on a massive scale; down from 237 to 140 over 10 years.
To literally add insult to injury; the company are now proposing to replace our RCI grade with an inferior grade of Revenue Control Officer; on £18,000 less salary!
Subject: VIOLENCE AT WORK
That we note that the company have produced and sent the union a document entitled ‘TfL Work-Related Violence and Aggression Strategy’.
We instruct the General Secretary to circulate the document to our Stations and Trains Tier 2 Safety Council Representatives and arrange an urgent meeting of our Stations and Trains Tier 2 Safety Council Representatives, Lead Officer, Senior Assistant General Secretary and members of the NEC in attendance.
Members to be advised by email & text.
That we note and adopt the report from our Political, Transport & Liberations Sub-Committee; and instruct the General Secretary to work with the Cuba Solidarity Campaign to provide health & safety equipment for Cuban workers through their trades unions.
