At our Level 1 meeting on 11.8.10, to discuss the proposed rosters for Rickmansworth group as drawn up under the COO process, the TU side stated that we will submit a collective grievance. I am now writing to you in accordance with the LUL grievance procedure to outline the terms of this grievance.

• Rostered SS should not have to cover CSA duties at other stations. The Stanmore SS is not happy about the rostered duty covering CSA at Wembley Park on Mondays. This represents poor use of the LULs resources and will increase travelling time for the rostered SS.

We the undersigned oppose the proposed rosters for the Harrow on the Hill group on the basis that we feel it is in direct conflict with the Framework of agreement and the following points below:

As you will know a RMT ballot for strike action took place on the Willesden Green Group.

The manager at the centre or RMT's dispute on Willesden Green group of stations is the same manager who was at the centre of a dispute with ASLEF at North Greenwich depot in 2004.

Dear Customer,

The RMT wishes to inform you that its members on the Willesden Green Group have voted to withdraw their labour from 18.49 Wednesday 8th April until 18.48 on Thursday 9th April 2009.

(The Willesden Green Group includes the stations between Dollis Hill and St. John’s Wood).

Following an overwhelmimg yes vote for Industrial action and London Undergrounds refusal to invite the Equality and Human Rights Commission to investigate Managements discriminatory and abusive treatment of our members,a strike has been called as follows:

Congratulations to station staff at Willesden Green who have voted yes for strike action and action short of a strike by a margin of 3 :1 with a turn out in excess of 50%.The dispute centres around a breakdown of industrial relations resulting from management ignoring Discipline and Attendance procedures and bullying our members.

We are balloting our members on the group over a breakdown in industrial relations resulting from local managements refusal to abide by London Undergrounds policies and procedures .

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, WILLESDEN GREEN GROUP

In the last circular I outlined the reasons for the breakdown in industrial relations, at the Willesden Green Group, and that a membership check was being carried out via the Branch
Representative.

SOME 70 RMT station staff at a dozen stations at the north end of London Underground’s Metropolitan line are to strike for 24 hours from 05:30 tomorrow (Thursday) morning against the forced transfer of staff.

Members returned a 13-to-one majority for action after senior LUL management breached its own procedures to tell staff on permanent postings that they would have to move jobs – over-ruling a potential solution negotiated locally.

RMT London Underground members on the Rickmansworth Group have voted overwhelmingly to take strike action next Thursday (August 7, 2008) following a local management decree that a number of CSA members were alleged to be surplus to requirements and compulsorily transferred.

"These draconian measures were taken despite staff being assured by the general station manager that they were part and parcel of the normal reserve compliment and some staff actually moved home on the strength of it," said RMT general secretary Bob Crow today.
