Just a quick newsletter putting out strike dates etc that have been released.

Can anyone let me know if the strike starting at 21:00 hours is a tools down all out situation or work to end of shift just so I can clarify this with a few people.

Easthammer 6 is now out a totally different format because I was bored and decided to make it into a 4 page booklet when printed. I would still like input from other Reps in the Branch as I only know whats going on at my group. This is now an 8 page version although it may go back to four for other editions but I thought I would include a Centre fold poster (No not that kind)

This updated version of For the Record April 2010 contains news about:

*job cuts and how Liverpool Street group will be affected:
*the Staff Our Stations campaign and it's arrival at Liverpool Street station;
*the Moorgate scra roster undermining and plans to undermine an ss1 job at Liverpool Street;
*Farringdon's CSA roster;

*the planned attack on long weekends for reserve staff of all grades;
*the myth of voluntary severance;
*mystery shoppers & positive feedback - another myth;
*your rights when returning to annual leave or rest days from sick leave

SRT covering SATS - again!
The SRT framework agreement states SRT should not cover any rostered duties unless the station falls below minimum numbers at short notice.

Overtime and rest day working …

The matter of overtime and rest day working was raised with the new GSM, who insisted that there was not a ‘blanket’ overtime ban, but merely that ‘overtime’ was being more closely managed. However, the outcome of this ‘closely managed overtime’ has been evident for all to see... Ticket offices closed, gate lines unstaffed, meal relief duties un-covered and staff being told to take DMR’s, and all this why we are being told to provide ‘A world class service’...

Despite the rumours that have circulated that I had discussed the transfer of staff and two stations - namely Barbican and Farringdon to the Liverpool Street group, nothing could be further from the truth.

Thursday 28th of May 2009 – Thursday 18th of June 2009

A New Roster.

A new roster was proposed by BNS as part of a SATS review to better meet the business needs of both Liverpool Street and Aldgate stations. An integral part of this roster is the addition of 4 weeks with a concomitant increase in staff at Liverpool Street; because BNS do not require SATS over the weekend and arranged its schematics to fit business needs the additional four weeks were to be worked Monday through to Friday with no additional weekend shifts.
