Strike Leaflet with dates and times

Dear Colleagues,

The votes have been cast in favour of strike action and action short of strike. We have voted to take action and now is the time to act.
Do not book on for any duty beginning between:
21.00 hours  on Monday 6th September until 20.59 hours  on Tuesday 7th September.
Nor from 21.00 hours on Sunday 3rd October  until 20.59 hours  on Monday 4th October.
Nor from 21.00 hours on Tuesday 2nd November  until 20.59 hours  on Wednesday 3rd November.
Nor from 21.00 hours on Sunday 28th November until 20.59 hours  on Monday 29th November.
There is a total overtime ban from 00.01hrs from the 6th September .

I've knocked up a very basic leaflet (two per A4 page) which may be of use.

Many members can get confused about the start times, and accurate information will increase the effectiveness of industrial action.

Please feel free to print some of these off and pass around.

Q. When do I book on for duty during a strike?

A. Each of the strikes will begin at 2100 hrs. You do not book on for ANY duty that begins AFTER 2100 on the first day . On the second day you only book on for shifts that begin AFTER 2059hrs - you DO NOT come in at 2059 to complete the final hours of a shift.

If you are on duty when the strike begins you continue your duty until the end of the shift. For example if a dead late CSA starts are 1700 and is due to finish at 0100hrs - the dead late csa will complete the shift. The next day the strike will still be on until 2059hrs so the dead late CSA does not book on at all.

Feel free to contact me - or your local rep for further information

Gavin
