Medication Proof Requests
Just a quick one today to let you know of the only real issue on the group this week.
This being management asking to see proof of medication ie a photocopy of the medications box showing dosage name drs details etc. It was agreed in the recent level 1 meeting that it is acceptable for management to request to see this information. It was also confirmed this was not as management were trying to tell staff "Company Policy" and when asked for this policy then being told "LUOH/District line policy" and then admitting it is ot a policy at all
.
Where we agree management have the right to ask we also feel you have the right to refuse said request and if management keep harrassing you to give this urge you to contact LUOH and state you are being bullied into things that are not aiding your recovery (especially if your suffering depression etc) This way LUOH then contact the GSM/DSM and rip them to pieces.
It is my personal belief that if you have confirmed medication with LUOH then if the DSM/GSM want details they should goto them the only reason they wont is because its easier to bully the staff rather than deal with the doctors who have put them on restrictions.
On this note also the fact after an assault it has taken 3 months for me to get an LUOH appointment after being assaulted. A pregnant member of staff was recently told LUOH had no need to see her and decided what she could and could not do at work on the basis of she is just pregnant. We have got this changed and she now has an appointment only to be told to make her own way to LUOH as we have no money for a taxi (this being a woman they went to meet at her nearest station as she is in no fit state to travel)
Are we playing with peoples health just to save money whilst still paying the bosses ridiculous amounts in bonuses for doing nothing and numerous redesigns of the tube map for no real purpose..
That said have a great Yule/Winter Solstice/Hanukkah/Christmas/Feast Day of the Nativity
and dont get injured over New Year it may be this time next year before you get seen
