Who Represents You on LUL's Forums?

The Stations & Revenue (functional) Council has various Forums, Sub-Committees etc that deal with particular aspects affecting our grades. RMT has three representatives on each of these.

Here a brief description of each and a list of who represents you. So if you have an issue, or an idea, or a question, or a strong opinion on a particular subject, then you know who to contact! We would like to see more input from RMT level one reps and branches into our work on the Council and its various Forums, so please do contact the relevant reps with any thoughts.

  • Revenue Forum - discusses all aspect of revenue, recently including the Ticket Office Procedures handbook and Oyster collection boxes.

  • Staff Movements Committee - deals with individual cases: hardship moves, flexible working appeals etc.

  • Strategy and Development - where management show their hand about their latest plans! Also considers issues referred from functional - a current example being RMT's demand for more reserve staff to be employed.

  • Stations complexity - discusses the criteria on which stations are rated SS1, SS2, etc, and consider individual stations' applications to be re-rated.

  • Framework Forum - discusses any changes to the Framework Agreement.

  • Special Requirements Team - talking through the creation of a team of station staff whose job will take them all over the Underground supplementing resident station staff for special events etc (look out for a report from your reps soon about our serious concerns about what management are up to).

  • Ex-Silverlink Joint Working Party - discusses issues concerning the transfer of 80 or so staff from Silverlink to London Underground Ltd.
