More Management Breaches of SRT Framework

RMT caught management out using SRT staff to cover resident staff attending a 'briefing' about the Jubilee line project. This is clearly a breach of SRT Framework Agreement, under which SRT staff can not cover rostered duties. So we raised the issue at the Stations & Revenue Council meeting on 24 September.

However, during a lengthy adjournment, management scoured the Framework Agreement and came up with the tenuous-to-the-point-of-ridiculous argument that because the Framework Agreement says that SRT staff can cover 'project needs', they can disregard the clause that says they cannot cover 'rostering arrangements'. This is despite the fact that 'project needs' means the need for extra staff to help a station run during a project eg. assisting passengers by a hoarding, or at the top or bottom of an escalator - not to cover other staff to be taken off the station.
