Trade Union Representative Facilities
This is London Underground's policy on facilities for union reps. If you are not getting all that you are entitled to, raise it with your employing manager, and also advise your branch secretary and Stations & Revenue Council reps.
London underground (LUL) provides its employees, selected to be Trade Union Representatives (Reps), with the necessary facilities to enable them to carry out their union roles. This includes communication facilities (notice boards, telephones and electronic facilities etc to enable them to keep union members informed of Branch and Head Office business, such as meetings, elections, member's welfare and general policy) as well as accommodation and related materials.
This document clarifies exactly what facilities LUL's Reps are entitled to and will enable LUL to ensure it follows a fair and consistent approach. For this reason, any proposal to add to this list must first have the approval of the Director of Employee Relations.
