You may be aware that earlier this year, RMT won for weekend part-timers the right to take your annual leave as a full weekend rather than as the Sunday of one weekend followed by the Saturday of the next.

Annual leave rotas for next year have started to appear on stations, and still show annual leave weeks as the Sunday-Saturday rather than the full weekend. This is how the new system will work: if you want to take any or all of your annual leave as a full weekend, then you should put in a request to your GSM. S/he MUST agree to this request and re-jig your leave. No excuses, no 'business needs', no 'not enough cover'.
