Rickmansworth

Ballot returned after being open for one week, 66 members were balloted papers returned 29 yes and 2 no.
Excellent 93% majority in favour of strike action.
A date of Thursday 7th has been called for a 24 hour stoppage on the Ricky group starting at 0530.
Eastham.
Looking to ballot over the problems with local management and their blatant breaches of policies, also female member of staff was sacked for pregnancy related illness.
Attendance clampdown on all grades
Management have admitted that they are now applying the attendance policy more stringently nearly all level 1 warnings are being given for the maximum 26 weeks.
Also the ongoing saga of patterning why by management review your attendance and if a pattern can be Identified then a warning will be given.
What they are saying though is that if any pattern appears to be annual then your first warning will be 52 weeks! We have opposed this as the policy clearly states a maximum of 26 weeks and we feel that LUL is trying to rewrite the policy without any Negotiation or consultation.
