Ex-Silverlink staff: who do they work for??

Stations and Revenue functional reps and the local rep on the Wembley Central group had a meeting on Tuesday 15th to discuss the absolute disgraceful rosters which the ex-silverlink staff are currently working. The staff are still working to rosters from the old days under the Silverlink which in most cases mean a minimum of a six day week and some almost unlimited days working!! One example shows only one fixed Rest day in a four week roster!

They actually have rostered rest day working which is totally unacceptable. We took are arguements to management who appear to want their cake and eat it, by saying that yes they are LUL employees but until their new rosters are in place next year they have to remain working the silverlink rosters.

We tried to rework the rosters to fit in with the LUL framework of agreement but could only do so for Wembley Central, Harrow & Wealdstone and possibly Queens park but the smaller stations on the group need extra staff to cover amount duties/restdays needed to get it. Management have taken our proposals away to look at and we are awaiting their response.
