Why You Should Create An Account On this Website
Hi, and welcome to the RMT Platform website. So you've got here, and you are looking around. You can see all the information the site provides for station and revenue staff, you might have printed some of it, you may have downloaded posters and newsletters. Great.
But if you register for an account, you can do a lot more. You can:
- read comments on articles posted by other users;
- post your own comments;
- if you are an RMT member, see members-only website content, including things like your local RMT rep's contact details, or discussions and information that we would rather keep internal;
- if you are an RMT rep, post material on the site on your very own page - your 'blog'.
What this adds up to is that without an account, you are a passive user of the site. With an account, you are an active participant. You get more out of it, and help us build the site as a valuable resource for workers and thus help strengthen the union. And a stronger union means more rights for workers and greater ability to fight off management's attacks.
So what are you waiting for? See that line in the left-hand column that says 'Create new account'? Click on it and follow the instructions!
If you have any problems or questions, contact one of your RMT Stations and Revenue Council reps.
